FAQ

SECTION 1: SERVICES & BOOKING

What services do you offer?

1

We specialize in three distinct experiences currently:

  • Private Fine Dining: A luxury, multi-course plated experience.

  • Family Style Dining: A warm, interactive service with shared platters.

  • Weekly Meal Prep: Custom menus cooked in your home for the week ahead.

How do I reserve a date?

2

All bookings are made directly through our website. Select your service, choose your package tier, and select your prefered date. Once confirmed, we will reach out to schedule your menu consultation and lock in specific details for your booking.

Can I customize the menu?

3

Absolutely. Every menu is tailored to your preferences. We discuss your likes, dislikes, and cravings during your consultation to build the perfect meal.

Do you handle allergies?

4

Yes. Whether you are gluten-free, keto, vegan, or have severe allergies (nuts, shellfish, dairy), we take safety seriously. Please disclose all restrictions during booking so we can plan accordingly.

SECTION 2: PRICING & PAYMENT

Are groceries included in the price?

5

No. To ensure transparency, our rates cover Chef Services and travel only. Groceries are purchased specifically for your event and billed separately at cost. This ensures you pay exact market prices with no hidden markups.

Is there a deposit required?

6

Yes. To secure your date on the calendar, the customer must pay the service fee. Groceries will be billed after service is complete.

When is the final payment due?

7

The remaining balance (including the grocery reimbursement) is due within 2 hours of the completion of service.

What is the late payment policy?

8

Prompt payment is required. Any invoice not settled within the 2-hour window will incur an additional late fee of $100 for every hour that payment is delayed.

SECTION 3: LOGISTICS

Do I need a large kitchen?

9

"A large or professional-grade kitchen is not required, but it must be fully equipped with the necessary culinary tools. Please note that I do not provide heavy equipment such as pots, pans, or mixers. To ensure a successful service, your kitchen must have standard, functioning cookware and appliances available for use. A clear workspace and a cleared sink are also required for me to begin preparation."

Do you provide plates and silverware?

10

For Fine Dining, we can use your china. For Family Style, we use your serving platters to keep it casual. For Meal Prep, we use your own glass or plastic storage containers.

What about cleanup?

11

We leave your kitchen exactly as we found it—often cleaner. We handle all cooking-related cleanup, washing pots, pans, and utensils, and wiping down counters before we depart.

How far do you travel?

12

We serve clients throughout the San Francisco Bay Area. Locations requiring significant travel time may incur a small travel stipend, which will be discussed prior to confirmation.
